Dyan McGuire is an Associate Professor of Criminology & Criminal Justice at Saint Louis University. Her research interests include the intersection of law and practice, particularly as it impacts eyewitness identification and Miranda rights. She also focuses on race and sex discrimination by the criminal justice system and violence as it impacts upon women both as victims and perpetrators. She has led several research projects involving original data collection and analysis. She is the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles and regularly serves as a reviewer.
