Academy Americana - Completing Grades 1-4
July 12 – 23 — Life & Times of Route 66! Hop on the 'Mother Road' as we cruise through the 1920s-1960s, and discover the route of the Great American Road Trip! Make a pit stop at a soup kitchen during the '30s, as your kin decide whether to ditch the Dust Bowl for California or stay to help pave Route 66. In the '40s, grab your ration books and use your stamps to create a dish for 'Meatless Tuesdays'. Don't be square as we burn rubber into the '50s and get hip with the fads. Then coast into the '60s and navigate the bumpy cultural changes of the times. Create a photo scrapbook of our travels.
